DJ support (A not for profit company) is looking for a Support worker for a unique and bespoke supported living project, who can make an active difference to the life of a young man. We are looking for someone to work 37.5hours per week. There is overtime on offer if you would like to work more hours.
We are a two to one Care team meaning you will be working alongside another member of the team. This is done so staff don’t feel overwhelmed and can give the very best care. This is a rare opportunity in care, where you will be given the time and support to strive for the highest standards, and be a part of a project, which hopes to show that individuals with disabilities can be given the best opportunities. We are looking for someone who has held a manual driving licence for at least 2 years and is happy to drive the mobility Van we have for our service user. We do lots of activities during the day from Swimming to Days out and even Holidays in places like Centre parcs.
You can make a real difference at DJ support and will be given training to the highest standards and supported in your new role from experienced members of the team. You will receive ongoing support and mentorship from members of the management team and the directors are a big part of DJ Support and give lots of support and guidance to help enhance the team to achieve the highest standards of care. We also offer NVQ’s to those that are interested in gaining qualifications in care.
