Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ensure that the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, including specialty cocktails, and be able to make recommendations to customers
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Collaborate with other bar staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
- Familiarity with bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess any required certifications for alcohol service
